The surf has been good over the last couple of days. There's an Autumn chill in the air, but the ocean still retains the warmth of summer.
Thankfully, this season has been very busy here in North Devon. Vikki has been working flat out at the beach cafe, where suddenly, almost overnight, it has never been busier.
...or does it just feel like that, after the rather unsettling peace and quiet of Lock down? It was a time when we used our 'official', daily, one hour's exercise, sea glass collecting, on eerily empty beaches. This time was also productive for making jewellery. The beach cafe was closed, there were no visitors around and so we were able to add to our collection of sea glass jewellery, with even more time in our studio.
